Lost Tomb
My partner and I did Hotel Murder Mystery and loved it so much we wanted to do another escape room! Matthew was fantastic and helped us out by getting us into the next available room which was Lost Tomb. Loved this even more than the first! Thankyou Matthew for your awesome service and fun, bubbly personality. You made the experience that much better :)

Entombed
Was able to complete the Entombed room with 3mins to spare. Was a fantastic room, definitely the best escape room I’ve done with good sound design and props. Our host Sam was also great!
Amazing experience! We really enjoyed Entombed and we had a great time even though we didn't make it out. Ben was really helpful at the end with going through our last steps on how to escape
Came here with the fam and had a really good time. We did the Entombed room which was great.
The room and props were very well done, tasks to complete kept us on our toes and hints were in theme as well which was cool. Fun way to spend an hour.

VERY scary escape room. We played Entombed and it gave me like 10 heart attacks, amazing thrill. Phoebe was our helper person and she was amazing and let us see the end of the escape room even though we didnt make it out in time and she was really really kind to us. 🤗

Bank Heist
This review is for Ben(Game crew and Alex(Booking team). I do not write reviews. Ben and Alex are the reason I am writing this one.
We came back to Escape This Perth CBD for my partner's birthday. Our first visit was on Father's Day, and we loved it so much that we planned this day three weeks ahead: The Wizard's Chamber, then Bank Heist. We were deep in the first game and loving it.
Then my daughter suddenly became very unwell with diarrhoea, shortly after eating an unplanned sushi roll from Jaws Sushi. After two urgent runs to the bathroom, she was exhausted. I was back and forth with her, and none of us could think about the clock. Our best day fell apart in minutes.
I told Ben we suspected food poisoning and could not continue. His first words were about my daughter, not the booking. He comforted us, spoke with his manager, and arranged for us to rebook.
That evening she got worse, and we ended up in the emergency department.
Alex then followed up by phone and email and made rebooking easy. Thanks to Ben and Alex, our family gets to come back and finish what we started.

Todays experience was fantastic. We did the bank heist and it was defi itely a challenge. As an ER fanatic, this challenge was refreshing.Phoebe was lovely and made us feel very welcomed

High Noon
Always love every visit to Escape This! By far the best to do it in Perth and High Noon is a favourite. The attention to detail in the room and complexity of the puzzles made for an extremely fun and high quality experience. Big thanks to Finn and Mia P who made the experience smooth from start to finish!
It's was an amazing experience and made it seem as if you are actually in the jail. It made us use collaboration and was fun all around. James was an amazing game host.
We went to the high noon escape room and it was great fun! Didn't quite finish in time, but our guide Mia P talked us through what we missed and was super helpful and nice 😊 👍
AMAZING! Ian was an absolute legend - we did high noon as a family and he was engaging, so fun and truly celebrated our very first room escape after attempting nearly every room escape this has to offer 😂 thanks, Ian!!
High noon was amazing I loved how they locked us up Ben was a great storyteller and he was very nice.

The Dunny

Our team had the pleasure of experiencing "The Dunny"! It featured an 🇦🇺 Australian outback theme, which we found to be quite amusing, and we also learned a great deal about popular Australian foods and creatures 🐍🕷🦘. Ben, our game master, was exceptionally friendly, and 20 clues later, we successfully escaped before our time ran out. We highly recommend this experience! 💯
My friends and I tackled The Dunny tonight and we had the best time. We really enjoy the rooms at Escape This, but this one was our absolute favourite!
Our host, Matthew (classic spelling), was fantastic. He gave us space to solve the puzzles on our own while making sure we got the help we needed when we became stuck. The banter really added to the night as well.

Hitman
The Hitman room was so fun that we booked 2 more escape rooms for the week (1 in the Northbridge location). It was properly challenging but perfectly doable - the solutions made sense and didn't feel obtuse. (We have played around 30 escape rooms). The room was pretty high quality and not overly bloated with unnecessary decoration. All the tech was solid and responsive.
We also did the Sherlock Holmes: Telephone room, which was well made for such a small space. Using the rotary phone was fun. We were pleasantly surprised how much they could pack in without making it cramped. The puzzles were reasonably challenging; I think having some puzzling experience up your sleeve is helpful if you wouldn't want to use clues.
Our hosts, Skye and Phoebe, respectively, were welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Hitman required us to be led in with our eyes averted but Skye was very clear and careful with us. We've been to escape venues where the employees are bored or apathetic - no such vibe at Escape This. Great experience and highly recommended.
Mia D and Austin were excellent in hosting the game for us! We did Hitman room and it was fun and interactive!

Captain Nemo
Did the Captain Nemo escape room last night, it was absolutely amazing. We've been doing escape rooms every year since 2019 and this one is definitely my favourite. Without spoiling it, the ending was so much fun. Reallt immersive, the environment was top notch.
This was hands down the most fun thing we did on our entire trip to Perth.
There were five of us and we did the Captain Nemo escape room…and somehow we escaped with literally TWO SECONDS LEFT! 😂 It was insane.
What made it so much fun was that all five of us contributed. There was so much going on that everybody had moments where they figured something out or noticed something the rest of us missed. It really felt like we needed the whole team to pull it off.
The Captain Nemo room itself was awesome. Super immersive, really clever puzzles, and just challenging enough that when we finally escaped with two seconds left it felt like we’d just won the freaking Super Bowl. 😂
The people working there were also incredibly cool and made the whole experience even better.
Seriously…if you’re in Perth, DO THIS. Whether you’re with friends or family, this is an absolute must. Easily one of the highlights of our entire Perth adventure.
We did Captain Nemo with our family and 12 year old son and it was so fun! We succeeded with 2 seconds left on our time. We will for sure come back next time we are in Perth we went to do them all! Staff was amazing. It was challenging and so many unexpected.
Had no idea about this place. First in person escape room and it was uber fun. Our first was the submarine and id highly recommend it! Challenging and not too easy. Has a nice mix of mental and physical tasks that everyone can contribute to.
Will definitely be looking for some of the other rooms to try!
The Wizard’s Chamber
I highly recommend ESCAPE THIS. my friend and I had so much fun! We did two rooms - The Wizards chamber which we escaped with 15 ish minutes to spare! the second room we did was the High Noon room, definitely a bit trickier but fun none the less! Austin was amazing in assisting us! we definitely got stuck here and there, especially when the answer was right infront of us, he was always there to assist. Thank you Austin for making out time memorable! We cannot wait to return to Perth and play again!
Went tonight with my mum and it was amazing. Phoebe, was super sweet and very helpful whenever we'd get stuck. We had a great time and finished the Wizards Chamber with like 5 minutes to spare. I'd love to try the other rooms here 10/10 recommend.

Pirates
My daughter and her friends had a great time in the Pirate room for her birthday. We were very grateful for our amazing games master Phoebe, who was patient and supportive when a few of our autistic group members became overwhelmed and needed to take regular breaks outside the room- they loved being able to stay involved. Thank you Phoebe! We’ll be back for another challenge soon.

We doubled up for the night and did Pirates and Entombed with just the two of us. Both brilliant escape rooms. Well designed props, mechanics, lighting and puzzles. Quality escape rooms with friendly staff.

Great venue, felt clean and safe. The room itself was tricky but good - we did Pirates. And staff were very kind and friendly. Would recommend.

My partner and i did the pirate escape room, not incredibly difficult but did get the brain cells working in such a fun way, would definitely recommend for group fun or even just a date night out, thanks to david as well he was so welcoming and was so friendly such a great experience, thanks david! :))))

We had the pleasure of completing Pirate Island at Escape This escape rooms. Although it was difficult at times, we were lucky to have Matthew help us out, without making it too easy so we could find the treasure in time. It was a huge success!

Telephone
Did the Sherlock Holmes Telephone escape room tonight with my husband and it was sooo fun! Very unique room and some pretty cool and neat puzzles. Difficulty was easy/medium. Time limit is shorter than usual (45 mins) due to the room size, but still super fun regardless. Sam was an awesome and sweet gamemaster! It's so nice and refreshing to see staff enjoying their job and wanting to ensure their customers have a pleasant experience. Well done Sam!

Hotel: Murder Mystery

We were going to be charged with murder we had to locate the murder scene by deciphering several clues. Once the murder scene was discovered we had to Find clues to work out who the actual murderer was, in order to free ourselves. Brilliant!!! Looking forward to visiting different scenarios
Did the 1920s hotel murder mystery with 2 teenagers. Staff were wonderful. The props and story were engaging. Would highly recommend.
Did the Hotel Murder Mystery with a friend, we were both novices to escape rooms but Mia P was a great guide. We did get stuck a few times but did manage to correctly solve the murder mystery so we’re pretty chuffed 😃

The Cannibal escape room was a lot of fun. Elise and the crew were great.

The Haunting
We enjoyed The Haunting!
It was challenging, fun, and creative.
The game masters, Daniel and Matt, were very professional and accommodating. I especially liked how open they were to feedback and how they asked for suggestions on how they could further improve the customer experience at the end of the game.
Excellent customer service.
The lighting, design, and effects definitely created a scary atmosphere and vibe. But if I’m being honest, it was overshadowed by my fascination with the sequential trigger system — the way one action cleverly set the next mechanism in motion was incredibly satisfying.
Overall, it’s a great activity for friends, family, or a date night.

We really loved The Haunting escape room. As first time 'escape roomies' we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and detail of the props and puzzles. A perfectly creepy little room with awesome sound and effects. The fact we were in a legit old 'haunted' house made it even more special.. My husband wasn't really interested in doing an escape room at the start...but he ended up enjoying it just as much as I did! The lovely staff Matt and Dan were great. Definitely recommend this for something different.
The haunting escape room was excellent. Sage was such a sweetheart. The only down side I really loved the teddies and wanted to take it lol

We did the possession and it was super interactive and had us jumping!! The puzzles were really good and we had a lovely afternoon there! Dan was really friendly and even took us back in to go through the puzzle we were stuck on!

Today my friends and I attempted to escape the Possession room, and saying it was scary is an understatement. I don't doubt that people outside the venue heard us screaming at points! The puzzles were intriguing to solve and the hints were very helpful. The atmosphere of the room was extremely well created and we were jumping at every little thing.
Thank you to our games master Lachie who gave us extra time when we were struggling to escape and answered any questions we had about the puzzles after we were done.

Great fun! Our team tried Buried Alive (and said it was the best Escape room they’ve done) and Dracula. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to May who helped us in our rooms and made our experience extra fun.
Michael was the best guide. Enjoyable experience. The Dracula room wasn't too difficult. Appropriate for a group of up to 8.
Very fun. Played the Dracula room. We had a great time and found the puzzles hard but within our abilities. Ive gone to escape rooms before that feel like masochistic excersices in self humiliation but this was a very fun and engaging night out. Huge shoutout to Sage for guiding us through everything, she knows her stuff!
The dracula room had a great set design and was decently challenging. Our game master lachie was very helpful.
Buried Alive
I can't handle horror but the Buried Alive one was fine! If you're okay with getting shut in the box (quite spacious, enough room to flip over and I could even tuck myself in and completely turn around), it has no jumpscares and is quite a fun "tame horror" one to try.
We had a blast, as getting shut in was a pretty novel experience. We've played around 30 escape rooms and these puzzles were suitably challenging. We had a gamemaster named Viv who was flawless in making us feel comfortable. That's saying a lot when you're getting shackled, blindfolded, and nailed in :D .
Booked Buried Alive today for me and my boyfriends 1 year anniversary- we had Micheal, Dan and Matt instruct us with the room- always incredible, always 5 stars

Asylum
The Asylum room was so much fun and just the right amount of scary! (But definitely not for those afraid of the dark 🤭) Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for an escape room. Matt was great and helped us know what to expect for when we got inside the room ☺️
Morgan and Michael were wonderful. We had a great time! Asylum is a small room, but had good, clear puzzles, and was challenging without being frustrating.
I booked the Asylum experience last Saturday and had a great time! It was terrifying, especially because right before we entered, Sage was telling us about how the building was haunted and even retelling her own experiences. She was very lovely and a great game master!

Such a great date night, Lachie was a fantastic game master and helped us when we needed without giving it away. Zombie room was fun, jump scare and immersive, looked like a movie set with challenging puzzles but not impossible.
Thanks again Lachie for being super friendly and knowledgeable - we'll go on your recommendation to the other rooms next time.
Booked the zombie apocalypse room for my partner's birthday but ended up using the emergency exit button within 5 minutes of starting as I felt like I was going to have a panic attack from the loud noises. Though I didn't get to enjoy the game, my gamemaster Matt made me feel so much better by just having a chat with me, giving me water and repeatedly checking on how I was doing. I really appreciate how kind he was and the rest of my group had a great experience so 10/10!
The zombie room was a great challenge. Sam is unreal! Such good enthusiasm and a good bloke.
Frankenstein Resurrection
Elise was very friendly and helpful. Super fun doing the Frankenstein room! Just the right amount of spooky for the Halloween season.

Some friends and I decided to do a spontaneous escape room adventure. I am an absolute wimp when it comes to scary things yet decided to do the Frankenstein adventure and I’m so glad we did. I was def scared but to the point where is was thrilling. There was dramatic moments, plot twists and a lot of fun. Sage was a very good host and definitely elevated the experience to a memorable degree.

I came here a few days ago to do the Frankenstein escape room, and it was AMAZING! I puzzles were the perfect difficulty so we were able to escape, but not so easy that we had super long left. I also LOVED the room itself, Frankenstein himself looked great, the sound, the lightning, all the other props, were all fantastic! Also, our games master Lachie was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to try out all of the other rooms!
